Froggy (カエルくん Kaeru-kun?) is a character that appears in the anime series Sonic X and its comic series published by Archie Comics. He is the pet and best friend of Big the Cat.
History[]
Froggy and Big originally lived on a parallel Earth in another dimension until a large-scale Chaos Control transported him and Big to Earth.
While living on Earth, Froggy found and was forced to swallow a puddle of water that was Chaos when he and Big found a Chaos Emerald, causing Froggy to grow a tail and act strangely. Immediately after swallowing Chaos, Froggy indigested Big's Chaos Emerald and ran off. Froggy was eventually found by Big and Chris, but was immediately after abducted by E-102 Gammaand brought to the Egg Carrier. There, Froggy was placed in captivity, but was freed by Big and Chris. After escaping, however, Froggy was caught by Dr. Eggman, who made him regurgitate the Chaos Emerald. Froggy was then absorbed by Chaos where it regain the part of it Froggy had swallowed, returning Froggy to normal. Shortly after, Froggy was freed from Chaos when Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna defeated Chaos and he and Big returned to their home.
During the Emerald Fighting Tournament, Froggy made Ella faint after jumping out of Big's fur and scaring her (this scene was cut in the English dub).
