Downhill Street[1] is a location that appears in the anime series Sonic X. It is the location where Sonic the Hedgehog first encountered Shadow the Hedgehog.

While being chased by Gun Beetles, Sonic emerged on Downhill Street, where he took care of them, and then a Big Foot. It was then that Sonic was confronted by Shadow. After a short battle between the two, Shadow vanished when he heard the police coming to arrest Sonic for crimes he had been framed for. While Sonic initially resisted, he complied to their demands when Chris convinced him to do so.[1]

- Downhill Street is likely named after City Escape as the latter is both a downhill-centered stage, as well as the area where Sonic first met Shadow in Sonic Adventure 2.
