Alexander Pell[1] is a character that appears in the Sonic X comic series published by Archie Comics. He is an old friend of Chuck Thorndyke's and an inventor.

Appearance[]

Alexander is an old man with peach skin. He has a balding head, though he still has hair remaining on the back of his head, which is black and partially grey due to aging. He wears a white lab coat, sunglasses, a black tie, a green shirt, and brown pants.

History[]

Archie Comics[]

Past[]

In his youth, Alexander went to Station Square University, where he was Chuck Thorndyke's roommate. The two became close friends and, as lab partners, they theorized of a way to create a warp ray emitter, but could not think of a way to make it small enough for practical use.[1]

Sub Sonic[]

In the present, Alexander had managed to develop his warp ray when he got his hands on a rare metal known as Rubinite, a story which went public. Alexander soon after got a visit from Chuck, with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends tagging along.[1]

When Alexander attempted to demonstrate the warp ray's capabilities by shrinking Sonic and Miles "Tails" Prower, the emitter also shrank Eggman, Decoe, and Bocoe when the villains got into firing range during an attempt to attack Sonic. Unfortunately, the warp ray was damaged in the process. While the hedgehog and doctor fought, Alexander and Chuck fixed the warp ray, eventually giving it a five second burst of energy, which Amy Rose used to restore all its victims to normal. The warp ray broke, however, which Alexander showed disappointment about.[1]

Personality[]

Alexander is very enthusiastic about his work, often forgetting the threat Sonic and Tails were in and rambling on about his research.[1]
